Surrounded by a myriad of flora and fauna, yet only 15km from the nearest town, this is a nature lover’s paradise. Included is a 2-man kayak, to explore the surrounding creeks and waterways, binoculars, bird watching books and much more. Additional kayaks are available, as well as fishing gear and dinghy hire subject to availability & licence.
Wilkadene is listed on the National Trust and also houses the original pioneer cottage built on the property in 1859. Its rich history can be self explored, including the old cottage, shearing shed and it’s connection with the paddle steamers which were vital to early life here.
Other features include a tennis court, slow combustion wood fire, BBQ and patio area, DVD player with selection of movies and much more. Water skiing is magnificent in this remote area and we have a floating swim deck which can be used as a launch point. This also serves as a great spot for fishing, sun baking, or just plain relaxing.
